Inspired by the famous Cheesecake Factory brown bread, we made this soft baguette with cocoa powder, maple syrup and oat flakes.
It's fluffy and tasty, perfect with sweet or savoury fillings.
Mix all the dough ingredients in a bowl.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it's smooth and pliable.
Prove the dough for 40 minutes in a greased bowl wrapped with cling film.
Halve the dough and flatten each piece into a rectangle. Then, fold the long sides towards the centre, so they overlap.
Now, pull the edges of the dough and fold them again towards the centre, pressing down to seal the seam.
Flip the baguette with the seam-side down, brush it with water and sprinkle it with oats.
Transfer the bread onto a tray lined with baking paper and let it prove covered for 30 minutes.
Finally, bake the baguettes for 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F) and let them cool down before serving.
