Sesame Puffed Rice Bars with Apricot and Prunes

STEP 1

Cook the tahini, maple syrup, orange extract and baobab powder in a saucepan over low heat.

STEP 2

Stir until you get a smooth paste.

STEP 3

Take a mixing bowl and add in the puffed rice, half of the sesame seeds, all the other seeds, the dried apricots, the prunes, and the tahini paste.

STEP 4

Stir the ingredients until the rice is sticky and well coated. Move the mix to a baking tray and press down firmly and evenly.

STEP 5

Press in the remaining sesame seeds and bake for 10 minutes at 190°C (374°F) or 170°C (338°F) for fan ovens.

STEP 6

When cooked, remove from the oven and place in the fridge for 10 minutes. Then slice the tablet into bars or squares.
