Did you know you can make a tasty and refreshing homemade electrolyte lemonade instead of sipping those store-bought sport-drinks, usually loaded with refined sugars, artificial flavours and colours? Just follow our easy recipe!

Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium are essential for proper muscle and brain functions. This electrolytes drink combines selected ingredients to help you rehydrate and restore those minerals lost after a workout session or during hot weather.

This recipe includes:

  • Citrus fruit and coconut water: they are naturally rich in electrolytes and give also a refreshing taste to this lemonade.

  • Salt: it's a source of sodium, but make sure you choose a high-quality salt to get more minerals, like pure Himalayan salt.

  • Water: it's essential to stay well hydrated.

  • Raw Organic Honey: it's a natural source of carbohydrates which provide energy to the working muscles that water cannot and thus essential during your workout.

This recipe will help you to recover when you feel fatigued or have muscle cramps or headaches because of dehydration. Make sure you also eat mineral-rich foods including dairy products or leafy greens for calcium - try our tasty kale crisps; bananas and avocados for potassium; nuts and seeds for magnesium - make these delicious cashew nut truffles.
