In our databases

  • Your bookmarked recipes for signed in users
  • Messages sent to use via the "Contacts" page, so that we may provide an effective customer service experience.

All of the above data are strictly used internally and not shared with the public.

What kind of data do we store on your device

Please refer to "1st party" column in the tables exposed in the Cookie Policy. None of our own cookies ("1st party") contains sensitive personal data.

3. Other third-party services we use

As of the "Last revised" date, on top of the third-party services already noted in the Cookie Policy as "3rd party", we use the following additional services that will interact with your personal data to some degree:
  • Elastic Email. To store subscribers emails and run the email newsletter service. All emails you receive from us will have an "unsubscribe" link, allowing you to stop receiving further communication.
  • We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device's IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user. If a parent or guardian believes that the Website has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 16 in its database, please contact us immediately and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
