Cantaloupe melon and watermelon are not only iconic summer fruits but also some of the best low-sugar fruits, like berries. Moreover, they’re rich in vitamin A and C which help to keep healthy skin and fight free radicals.

Even if we’ve made this melon smoothie without yogurt, it’s still super creamy thanks to the blended banana and flaxseeds. Ground flaxseeds also boost this recipe with nutrients, like omega-3 fats and proteins.

Lemon Juice1 tsp
Cantaloupe Melon220 g
Watermelon260 g
Coconut Water180 mL
Ground Flaxseeds2 tbsp
Ginger1/4 tsp
Mint Leaves2
Vanilla Extract1/4 tsp
Bee Pollen1/4 tsp

Step 1

Slice the banana into chips and mix them with lemon juice to prevent browning.

Step 2

In the bowl of your food processor, add chopped cantaloupe melon and watermelon.

Pour the coconut water and blitz until smooth.

Step 3

Add ground flaxseeds, ginger powder, fresh mint leaves, and bee pollen.

Blitz again until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

Enjoy this low carb melon banana smoothie right away or keep in it the fridge.

  • For a protein boost, you can swap coconut water with yoghurt, like Greek or soy yoghurt.
